Your essay

A short story. A big impact.

Your scholarship essay is where we meet the real you. Keep it honest and specific.

How do I write a winning scholarship essay?

Open with a real moment, not a quote. Share one challenge you faced and what you did about it. Connect it to your goal and explain how the EAESSI scholarship helps. Keep it short and read it out loud before you submit.

  1. The hook

Start with a moment. "I was 14 when I started translating at my mom's doctor visits."

  2. The challenge

What made your path harder? Keep it honest, not dramatic.

  3. What you did

Show the choice you made or the work you put in.

  4. Where you are going

Name your goal and how the EAESSI scholarship moves you toward it.

A quick tip

Ask a teacher or counselor to read your scholarship essay once. Fresh eyes catch what you miss.
