How the program works

What kinds of activities are involved?
Teens take on community service projects, group challenges, and skill workshops. They practice public speaking, teamwork, and planning. Our summer programs go deeper, so high school students build leadership skills they carry into college and career.
Our teens do not just learn about service; they live it. They support women’s health drives, mentor younger students, and strengthen Northern Virginia neighborhoods while growing their own leadership skills.

It is free for high school students in Northern Virginia.
No prior experience is needed. The program is built for teens at every starting point, whether they've never spoken in front of a group before or are already comfortable taking the lead. Our mentors meet each teen where they are and build from there.
Time commitment varies by workshop and project, but most teens attend regular sessions alongside their community service work throughout the program. We work around school schedules so it stays manageable alongside classes and other activities.
