Youth Leadership

Confidence Is Built. We Help Teens Build It.

A free youth leadership program for teens across Northern Virginia.

Through community service, mentoring and real projects, your teen grows leadership skills that last far beyond high school.

No teenager is born a leader. Confidence, voice and follow through are built through practice, mentoring and real responsibility. The EAESSI youth leadership program helps teens in Northern Virginia grow real leadership skills through community service and hands on projects. Your teen learns to speak up, work with a team and see a project through from start to finish.

What is the EAESSI youth leadership program?

It is a free program where high school students build leadership skills through community service and mentoring. Teens plan real projects, serve their neighbors and grow into leaders. The youth leadership program is open to students across Northern Virginia.

What kinds of activities are involved?

Teens take on community service projects, group challenges and skill workshops. They practice public speaking, teamwork and planning. Summer sessions go deeper so high school students build leadership skills they carry into college and career.

Our teens do not just learn about service, they live it. They support women’s health drives, mentor younger students and strengthen Northern Virginia neighborhoods while growing their own leadership skills.

That is the EAESSI difference. Leadership here is not a title. It is service that leaves your community better.

Skills your teen builds

Beyond the application, the leadership skills teens gain here last for life. They practice public speaking, teamwork, planning and problem solving. They learn to lead a group, manage a project and speak up with confidence.

These are the same skills colleges and employers look for. Your teen carries them into class, career and community.

Why do colleges value leadership and community service?

Because they predict who will contribute on campus. In a national survey of admissions officers, 58 percent said community service positively affected acceptance chances and 53 percent said it could break a tie between equal applicants. Strong leadership skills help college applications stand out.

Our youth leadership program gives teens exactly that kind of depth, a genuine role in real community service rather than a box to check.
