What is a FAFSA completion workshop?
A FAFSA workshop is a free group session where students and families file the FAFSA with trained helpers on hand. You bring your documents, sit down, and complete the form step by step, with someone ready to answer questions the moment they come up.
You leave with your FAFSA filed and your financial aid in motion, not a pile of homework to dread. Not sure why timing matters? Read about the FAFSA deadlines, so you know when to come.
Who should come to a workshop?
Any student headed to college and their family. Our FAFSA workshops are perfect for first-generation students, families new to the process, and anyone who wants FAFSA help in real time. All are welcome across Northern Virginia.
